I’ll be speaking to the PMI Central Alabama chapter on April 16. The meeting starts at 11:15 and will last a little over an hour, including time for lunch. Register by clicking here.

My topic will be “An Agile Overview for People Who Don’t Really Like Agile.” I plan to talk about PMI’s new recognition of agile in the 6th edition PMBOK, and how I view agile as a tailoring decision which might vary from project to project or within phases of a project, not a life philosophy.

I appreciate the invitation from PMI Central Alabama in Birmingham. I first gave this presentation last year at PMI South Alabama’s annual conference, and I hope it provides some value for the attendees!
