Roger Blackmon with Computer & Data Network Services (CDNS) has great market share in his hometown market – Selma, Alabama. In business for over 20 years, he’s developed a great reputation for helping small businesses maintain security, stay up to date with their Microsoft operating systems and software, and fix computer hardware when it goes down.
Breaking into the Montgomery market
CDNS recently landed a key account in Montgomery. Roger became interested in how to capitalize on that success. He wants to provide computer repair and IT services to more businesses in the Montgomery, Millbrook, Prattville, and Wetumpka area.
Why Roger hired Nectar Bridge
Nectar Bridge was recommended to Roger by a past client. We’ve been meeting with him regularly to look at his internal bookkeeping, pricing structure, and how he’s managing the customer service and ticketing process. These processes are already pretty good, but moving into new markets will put a premium on top-notch service. It’s important that the foundation is in place.
CDNS Tech Adds Location in Montgomery
One of our first observations about marketing in the Montgomery area is – CDNS needed an address and presence in Montgomery. We’ve worked with Roger to secure space on Dexter Avenue – in the heart of the downtown Montgomery business district. Roger hopes to expand from this base of operations to serve customers all over the River Region. We’re helping provide the advice and assistance to make that happen by working with him hands-on.
Another component of joining the local community is chamber membership, so we recommended that he join the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce (link goes to his profile page) He’s also in the process of joining our mastermind group and making contacts with some of our other clients and Montgomery area business leaders.
Computer and Data Network Services, Inc. has been looking to expand our business to include the Montgomery and surrounding areas. When we began this project, I was introduced to Gary Smith with Nectar Bridge and with his research, support and guidance we are making new connections and working on new business projects already. With Gary’s guidance, we look forward to our continued success and growth in new markets.
